When TLC supplied KLP Euro RSCG with approximately 30,000 branded pint cups for the Witnness music festival in Ireland, we wanted to find a design that encapsulated the key elements of both brands.
A solution was found by combining the unique thumb-print illustrations of the Witnness advertising campaign with the iconic
Guinness 'pint'.
To add to the overall effect, the thumbprint design was printed with gradiation (a notoriously difficult printing technique) to 100% transparency at the base of the cup, allowing the trademark swirled 'settling' of the renowned stout to shine through.
